NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The 22nd-ranked Merrimack College men's soccer team looks to get back to its winning ways tonight against Stonehill College at 7 p.m.

Last Time Out:
Merrimack suffered its second loss of the season last Saturday against Le Moyne College. The road contest went to double overtime, with the Dolphins scoring the game-winner with less than four minutes remaining in the game.

The intensity of the match increased in the second half, as nine total cards were handed out including a red card to each team. Senior captain Michael Buraczynski (Littleton, Mass.) will not be able to play tonight for the Navy and Gold due to receiving a red card.

Last Season vs. Stonehill:
The Warriors traveled out to Easton and beat the Skyhawks, 1-0. Buraczynski tallied the lone goal for Merrimack, scoring off a header. Augusto Silva (Hudson, Mass.) notched the lone assist after playing a free kick into the danger area.

Senior goalkeeper Jose Silva (Northborough, Mass.) picked up the victory and the clean sheet, making one save in 90 minutes.

The Skyhawks:

  • Stonehill sits in fourth place in the Northeast-10, four points ahead of Merrimack. The Warriors are currently in seventh
  • The Skyhawks have two players in double-digits in points. Junior Drew Montano leads the team with three assists and is second with 11 points
  • Two goalkeepers have seen significant time between the posts. Adam Colella started their most recent contest against New Haven, making his fifth start of the year

The Warriors play their penultimate home game versus New Haven on Saturday at 6 p.m.
