NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's lacrosse team plays its second game of the week and second-to-last game of the season on Wednesday afternoon as the Warriors battle Southern New Hampshire up in Manchester at George J. Larkin Field. First draw control is scheduled at 4 p.m.

Last Time Out:
Merrimack played Saint Anselm on Monday night and only trailed by one goal at halftime, but the Hawks went on an 8-0 run in the second stanza to win by nine goals.
Redshirt freshman Hunter McCarthy (Avon, Conn.) tallied her sixth hat trick of the season, scoring three of Merrimack's four goals. Senior Kelly Metzger (Trumbull, Conn.) scored her seventh goal of the year, setting a new career high in the process.
Freshman goalkeeper Alexa Petzold (Ridgewood, N.J.) totaled seven saves, while senior defender Olivia Coakley (Bridgewater, Mass.) picked up four ground balls. Coakley sits eight ground balls away from becoming the eighth player in program history to reach 100 career GBs.
Last Season vs. SNHU:
Merrimack's lone conference victory last year came against the Penmen, 11-8, at Martone-Mejail Field. With the game tied at 8-8 with 22 minutes to play in the game, the Warriors kept the Penmen off the scoreboard and scored three goals in the process to collect the win.
Senior Giulia Palombo (Sandwich, Mass.) notched a hat trick, Coakley scored two goals and junior attacker Aubrie Stouffer (Souderton, Pa.) totaled a three-point game (2g, 1a). Junior Shealyn Anthony (Stoneham, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal off a free-position chance.
