Highlights
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's volleyball program hosted the Le Moyne College Dolphins – the reigning Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season Champions – on Saturday afternoon and hung with the visitors, holding leads in all three sets. The Dolphins were able to prevail in three, however, winning by a 3-0 margin from Hammel Court.

- Set 1: Utilizing a new starting group that featured the second start of the season for sophomore Sydney Buran (Cohoes, N.Y.) and the first for sophomore Kylie Chetwynde (Hanover, Mass.), Merrimack jumped out to a 9-6 lead featuring points from Chetwynde, senior Mary Kate McCarroll (Harrison, Ohio), freshman Karina Anderson (Newbury Park, Calif.) and sophomore Catherine Flaherty (North Andover, Mass.). Le Moyne proceeded to win the next seven points and used a 10-2 run overall to create a five-point gap (16-11) between themselves and the Warriors. The programs traded points from there, with the visitors winning by a 25-18 final
- Set 2: The Navy and Gold held a 6-5 advantage through 11 points after a kill from sophomore Rosie Sperduto (Brentwood, Tenn.) broke a 5-5 tie. The decisive portion of the match came when Merrimack pulled within one, 16-15, only to see the Dolphins win the next five points. After Merrimack cut its deficit to three, Le Moyne posted three straight points to take the game, 25-19
- Set 3: A back-and-forth set swung in favor of the Warriors when Merrimack rattled off three unanswered points to break a 9-9 tie. Le Moyne used a timeout following an ace for Sperduto, and capitalized on the stoppage to win 10 of the next 11 points, opening a 20-13 lead. Nine points later, the Dolphins put the match away with a 25-17 triumph

Notes and Notables
- Buran's eight helpers were the most for the second-year setter since her career-high 14-assist effort at Saint Anselm back on Sept. 21
- Appearing in just her sixth match of the season, Chetwynde notched the first three kills of her career on a career-high 10 attacks
- Sophomore Brianna Santiago (Belchertown, Mass.) also saw the most action of her young career, posting two digs over two sets
