RINDGE, N.H. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team lost to Franklin Pierce, 1-0, on Saturday night from Sodexo Field in NE10 play.

How It Happened
  • 7' – Senior Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) had a golden chance to give the Warriors an early lead. She got behind everyone, including the keeper, but her shot went just wide to the right of the net.
  • Neither team had much offense the rest of the half, until the Ravens went ahead in the 36th minute. Gabi Pereira scored the only goal of the contest on a 25 yards free kick to give the home team a 1-0 lead.
  • Sophomore Erin Fulton (Farmington, Conn.) came up with three saves in the first nine minutes of the second half to keep it a one-goal deficit.
