How It Happened
- 7' – Senior Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) had a golden chance to give the Warriors an early lead. She got behind everyone, including the keeper, but her shot went just wide to the right of the net.
- Neither team had much offense the rest of the half, until the Ravens went ahead in the 36th minute. Gabi Pereira scored the only goal of the contest on a 25 yards free kick to give the home team a 1-0 lead.
- Sophomore Erin Fulton (Farmington, Conn.) came up with three saves in the first nine minutes of the second half to keep it a one-goal deficit.
