Victoria Carter (Smithfield, R.I.) scored her first two goals of the 2017 season as the Warriors defeated Molloy College, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon from the RVC Sports Complex during the Molloy Labor Day Weekend Tournament.

How It Happened
- The Warriors took the first three shots of the contest, including a header by Carter in the sixth minute that went wide.
- 19' - Carter received a pass from senior Mia Reed (Essex Junction, Vt.) and beat the sliding save attempt from Molloy freshman keeper Jackie Carty (East Islip, N.Y.)
- 55' - Merrimack wasted little time as Carter scored off a pass by senior Sarah Boucher (Northbridge, Mass.) to put the visitors up 2-0. Junior Taylor Cogliano (Bellingham, Mass.) made it 3-0 just under four minutes later from an assist by classmate Tori Daigle (Dayton, Maine).
- 73' - The lone goal by the Lions came on a penalty kick by Katlyn Merino (Corona, N.Y).

- Freshman Megan Langlois (Methuen, Mass.) finished the game with three saves in her second-career start.
- Merrimack limited the Lion's offense to just one shot in the final 16 minutes of the game.
