NORTH ANDOVER, Mass.-- The Merrimack College women's track and field team won a home quad meet, besting UMass Lowell, Bryant and Assumption on Saturday. Merrimack finished the meet with 192 total points, with strong showings and first place finishes across events for the Warriors.

Meet Highlights

• Two Warriors earned top finishes in the 400m, with freshman Kaleigh Lane winning the event at 1:00.51, and junior Allee Purcell finishing third at 1:02.69.
• Samantha LiPetri won the 800m for the Warriors at 2:17.58. Carla Bouchrouche finished the 400m hurdles at 1:06.60 to take second for fifth all time on the program list.
• The 4x400 relay, with Samantha LiPetri, Emma Bouvier, Carla Bouchrouche and Kaleigh Lane finished second at 4:10.08.
• Freshman Abigail Greeley set a PR and program record in the long jump at 5.74m, with junior Madison Haughey taking second in the high jump at 1.58m.
• In the pole vault, Sarah Wilson took second at 2.90m with freshman Ashley Macek finishing at 2.15m.
• Alana Johnson won her third javelin event with a 41.58 meter throw, with Skylar DiMartino taking third in the javelin with a 34.85m throw.
• In throwing events, Taylor Jax won the hammer with a 43.15m toss before taking third in the discus. Hannah Flores took second in the discus at 38.92m for a new program top finish.
