The Merrimack Warriors women's hockey team was swept on Saturday afternoon at Matthews Arena by the #3/3 ranked Northeastern Huskies by a score of 4-1.
Merrimack trailed at around halfway through the first period when Northeastern scored at 9:33 of the first.
Calli Hogarth made 21 saves in the first period.
Northeastern extended their lead late in the second, with a goal at 15:23.
Calli Hogarth made 11 saves in the second.
Northeastern struck twice early in the final frame scoring twice in about two minutes with goals at 3:47 and 5:57 taking their advantage to 4-0.
Merrimack got their lone goal with 3 minutes remaining when Sydney Lynch notched her first goal for the Warriors in her career.
Calli Hogarth made 11 saves in the final period.
