NEW BRITAIN, C.T. – The women's lacrosse team made their way to the campus of Central Connecticut State University for a midweek in-conference match up against the Blue Devils. The Warriors came out on top in the contest, and have won their second game in a row.

Merrimack 12, CCSU 4
Records: Merrimack 2-6, 2-0 NEC, CCSU 1-7, 0-2 NEC
How it happened:

st quarter:
- Taylor Darrell scored first for the Warriors, giving her team an early 1-0 lead
- Not long after, Georgia Parker capitalized on a free position, gifted from a CCSU foul
- The Blue Devils would equalize the score before the end of the quarter
- Score at end of 1st: 2-2

nd quarter:
- The home team would keep their momentum rolling into the second quarter. The CCSU offense ate away at the clock, scoring two more goals and leaving the Warriors scoreless through most of the quarter.
- Darrell caught a slip from Dzialo and charged towards the net to score her second of the day, and put the Warriors back within one.
- Score at end of 2nd: 5-4 Merrimack

rd quarter:
- Mahanna was not done there. She made a drive down the center lane three minutes into the third, to increase Merrimack's lead to two.
- Darrell tallied yet another hat trick, off of a pass from Olivia Valdes
- Mahanna grabs a goal-line pass to earn a hat trick of her own
- Georgia Parker and Meghan Dzialo would add two more to their team's total. The Warriors would leave the Blue Devils scoreless in the quarter.
- Score at end of 3rd:10-4 Merrimack
4
th quarter:
- Dzialo and Calkins would add two goals early on in the quarter, and the Merrimack defense would wrap up a hard day of work, again leaving CCSU scoreless.
Final Score: 12-4 Merrimack
