NORTH ANDOVER, M.A. – The women's lacrosse team hosted the Sacred Heart University Pioneers for their final game of the season. In her last game in a Warrior uniform,
Taylor Darrell tallied four goals.
The Basics:
Records: Merrimack 5-12, 4-4 NEC, Sacred Heart 5-10, 3-4 NEC
Score:
Sacred Heart 13, Merrimack 10
How it happened:

st quarter:
- The Pioneers got off to an early lead, scoring four before the Warriors could get on the board. Taylor Darrell go things going for her team, to make it 4-1.
- Score at end of 1st: 4-1 Sacred Heart

nd quarter:
- Darrell and Meghan Dzialo would tag-team for two quick goals to open the quarter and get their team within one.
- Sacred Heart responded with a pair of goals of their own to put their lead back up to three, but again the Merrimack offense would pair up for two, this time scored by Darrell and Olivia Valdes
- Score at end of 2nd: 7-5 Sacred Heart

rd quarter:
- Darrell continues to bring the offense wherever she goes, this time combining forces with Catherine Mahanna.
- The Warriors and Pioneers would go back and forth with goals, with Mahanna's second being a game-tying response.
- Score at end of 3rd: 9-8 Sacred Heart
4
th quarter:
- The Pioneers added another at the beginning of the quarter, but Georgia Parker would find her first of the day, to put her team back within one.
- Sacred Heart, however, would add three more to extend their lead and solidify their win.
- Prior to the final buzzer, Dzialo would add one more – the final of her Warrior career.
Final Score: 13-10 Sacred Heart
