North Andover, M.A.—The Merrimack Warriors Women's hockey team led in the second period but were unable to defeat the Vermont Catamounts as they fell by a score of 4-2 on Saturday evening.

After a scoreless first 20 minutes, Merrimack took the early as
Mary Edmonds scored only 48 seconds into the period.
Celine Tedenby would double the lead five minutes later on a shot from in tight.
Vermont would cut the lead to one midway through the same frame but the Warriors would hold the one goal advantage into the third period.
Vermont scored three times in the third period to get the win.
