The Merrimack Warriors Women's Ice Hockey team hung in but unable to pick up the win over the Vermont Catamounts as they fell by a score of 6-2.
Merrimack (7-22-1, 4-18-1 HEA): 2, Vermont (19-10-1, 14-8-1): 6
Both teams pended the first with five shots on goal each but it would be Vermont who would take the lead with under a minute to go in the first.

In the second period, Vermont scored three times, to make the lead 4-0 but the Warriors would fire themselves right back into the contest with two goals in under a minute with goals from
Allison Reeb and
Alexa Pongo each found the back the net to cut the lead in half heading into the third.

Vermont would twice in the final period to close out the contest.
