Boston, MA.—The Merrimack Women's Track and Field Team participated in the UMass Flagship invitational on Sunday, highlight by Ava Mahoney's new school record in the indoor 3000 meter event.
 
Ava Mahoney placed in fourth with the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:48.57, setting a new record for the event for the program, breaking her original best by nine seconds
Kaleigh Lane finished tenth in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:21.42.
