Kingston, R.I.—The Merrimack Women's Track and Field Team had a solid showing at the showing at the URI Invitational on Saturday afternoon with co top performers
Leslie MacGrath and
Jahaida Gabriel.
Leslie MacGrath finished second in the High Jump event with a mark of 1.70 meters.
Katie Sills finished seventh in the Pole Vault with a mark of 3.20 meters.
Jahaida Gabriel finished second in the 60-meter final with a time of 7.82.
Ava Mahoney finished sixth in the 1000-meter final with a time of 2:58.79, which is a new school record for the event.
Julia Holt finished 10th in the 400-meter final with a time of 1:02.75
Sydney Connolly finished 10
th in the 200-meter final with a time of 26.72.
