Boston, MA/Kingston, RI.—The Merrimack Women's Track and Field Team competed in two separate meets this weekend as they took part in the BU Valentines Invitational and the URI Coaches Invitational.
BU Valentine Invitational
Madison Cote ran a time of 5:12.98 in the mile, which moves her into third place all time of the event in school history.
Hunter Laubstein notched a time of 1:00.93 in the 400 meter dash, which is a new personal best.
URI Coaches Invitational
Angelina Zaykovskaya ran a time of 1:25.38 in the 500 meter dash, to notch a ninth place finish.
Rachel Needham ran a time of 3:06.99 in the 1000 meter run setting a new personal best and it was good for a tenth place finish.
Olivia Beaduet finished tenth in the one mile run with a time of 5:30.25,
Maci Chapman finished right behind in 11
th with a time of 5:41.96.
Sophia Beland finished in 13
th with a mark of 5:46.34 and
Kristina Ponzio finished 15
th a time of 5:52.71.
Molly O'Donnell finished eighth in the high jump event with a height of 5' 1".
Elizabeth Murphy placed in tenth in the same event with a height of 4' 11".
Katherine Sills finished 8
th in the pole vault with a height of 11'.
Waimea Dodge finished in tenth in the triple jump with a mark of 32' 4.5" and
Annie Towler finished in 11
th with a mark of 32' .75".

Merrimack will compete in the NEC Indoor Championships hosted at the Ocean Breeze Facility in Staten Island on February 18
th and 19
th.
