Lowell, MA— The Merrimack Women's Track and Field Team competed in the UMass-Lowell George Davis Invitational this past weekend and performed well as
Alana Johnson won the Javelin Throw and had eight podium finishes overall.
Alana Johnson won the Javelin Throw with a mark of 44.71 meters, and Skylar DiMartino finished runner-up with a throw of 42.07 meters.
Anya Cunningham and
Makayla Champagne finished 3
rd and 4
th in the Hammer Throw, with marks of 46.39 meters and 45.52 meters respectively.
Molly O'Donnell finished on the podium in third in the High Jump reaching 1.53 meters,
Annie Towler finished fourth with the same mark.
Katie Sills finished sixth in the pole vault reaching 3.15 meters in the event.

Jahaida Gabriel finished second place in the 4x100 relay with a time of 48.26.

nd in the 4x400 relay, with a time of 4:00.37.
Jahaida Gabriel finished second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.35,
Sydney Connolly finished 11
th with a time of 12.92.
Riley Paskow finished on the podium in 3
rd finishing with a time of 58.47 in the 400 meter run. Riley also finished 8
th in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.43 meters.
Sydney Connolly placed in 7th with a time of 26.59 in the 200 meter dash.
Madison Cote finished 6
th in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 11:41.57,
Sophia Beland finished eighth with a time of 12:24.84.
Kiley Halpin finished 10
th in the 3000-meter run with a time of 11:38.05.
