Bridgewater, NJ— Merrimack College collected two team GPA awards and second place in the NEC Institutional Academic Award/Team GPA Award list, with a total of 23 qualifying teams posting a combined 3.380 GPA as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.

The two teams to collect the team awards for the individual NEC sports were Women's Bowling which posted a GPA of 3.71 en-route to winning the conference championship, Women's Bowling member Olivia Lampkin was also named one of the conferences scholar-athlete of the year. The other team to receive this award was the Men's Soccer team, who posted a 3.66 cumulative GPA.

The NEC Composite GPA was a 3.306 total, the fourth highest in conference history.
