• Attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory 
• Three-year starter at Belen Jesuit Prep
• Two-time first team all-county, all-district and all-region selection
• Totaled 121 ground balls and 53 caused turnovers along with two goals and four assists as a senior
• That followed a junior year when he forced 35 turnovers and gathered 59 ground balls while adding five points (2g, 3a) as part of a 17-win season
• Played for Miami Stone Crabs club team
