RINDGE, N.H. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team upset #6 Adelphi on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the Panthers, 2-1, on the road in the NE10 Quarterfinal contest. The Warriors will now travel to face the fourth-seeded Franklin Pierce University Ravens on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. from Sodexo Field.

- The Warriors upset No. 6 Adelphi in the NE10 Quarterfinal contest, 2-1, on Tuesday afternoon. Senior Sarah Boucher (Northbridge, Mass.) scored in the eighth minute to give Merrimack a quick lead. Junior Tori Daigle (Dayton, Maine) added an assist on the goal. The Warriors were on the right side of an own goal in the 28th minute to take a 2-0 lead. The Panthers cut the lead in half in the 30th minute. Adelphi had a penalty kick in the 38th minute, but sophomore Erin Fulton (Farmington, Conn.) made the save of the game, making a diving stop to keep a 2-1 lead.
- Boucher leads the team with 19 points (3g, 7a), while junior Gigi Guenther (Webster, Mass.) has a team-high six goals.
Earlier This Season vs. Franklin Pierce:
- Merrimack lost to Franklin Pierce, 1-0, back on Oct. 7th on the road. Gabi Pereira scored the only goal of the game in the 36th minute. Senior Molly Meehan (Fairfield, Conn.) made seven saves in the first half, while Fulton made three saves in relief.
The Ravens:
- Franklin Pierce defeated Pace, 1-0, in the NE10 Quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday. Veronica Marques scored the lone goal in the game, while Casey Cook made a pair of saves in net.
- Nathalia Maria da Silva leads the team with six goals. Marques and Pereira each have 12 points on the year, with five goals and two assists each.
