NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's soccer team hosts an out-of-conference matchup on Sunday against Manhattan, with kickoff at noon. Merrimack will honor five athletes on Senior Day to celebrate their careers.
Five Things to Know:
- Hallie Shiers leads the team in points with three after tallying a goal and assist this year.
- Merrimack players have tallied in six straight games, with goals from seven different players. Bridget Austin scored her first of the year in Merrimack's last game against Sacred Heart.
- Merrimack will honor Erin Fulton, Hayley Oliveira, Jackie Ireland, Tess Dunham, and Grace Thomas in a pre-game ceremony for Senior Day.
- Senior goalkeeper Erin Fulton has remained a team cornerstone, holding a 2.00 goals against average through 405 minutes in goal.
- Manhattan is 1-5 this season, with a 1-0 home win against St. Francis Brooklyn on Sept. 6. The Jaspers lost their last game, falling 1-0 to Pacific at home.
