North Andover, M.A.—The Merrimack Warriors Women's hockey team tied the game late in the second period, but were undone at home in their first of two game this weekend against the Vermont Catamounts by a score of 4-2 on Friday afternoon.
Vermont would score the game's first two goals, one in the first and one in the second periods but Merrimack would fire themselves back into the contest as
Natalie Nemes would score at 16:23 of the second period and
Allison Reeb would tie the game under a minute later to put the game on level terms.
Vermont would retake the lead with a minute to go in the second period and would nab the empty net goal to close the games proceeding's.
