North Andover, MA-- The Merrimack Men's Volleyball team was defeated by the St. Francis (PA) Red Flash on Saturday afternoon by score of 3-1.

In the first set, The Warriors took the early advantage scoring the first four six points, but St.Francis would tie the score, and the game would settle into trading points as neither team would take more than a two point lead until the end of the set where The Red Flash would score the final three points of the set to take the win. (25-21)
In the second set, the set started similarly to the first one, with teams trading points in the early going but the Red Flash would score five points of six to seize advantage. The Warriors would push the defecit back to four, but St.Francis would take a nine point advantage, and envuentally pull away for the set two win. (25-13)

The third set, Merrimack would score five of the first six points, and would ride that momentum as they would never trail in the set, as the Warriors would stretch their lead up to eight in route to the set win. (25-17)

In the fourth set, it was very similar to the first one, as the two teams were evenly matched through as the teams would trade points for the majority of the set as neither team again would lead by two points. With the set tied at 22, St Francis would score the final three points to take the set and match. (25-22)
