AMESBURY, Mass. – Merrimack College women's hockey sophomore forward Maria Lindberg was named the Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. 

Maria had a stellar weekend scoring in each game and adding three assists for a five point effort in their series against Lindenwood on October 25^th and 26^th. Lindberg is currently averaging a point a game with seven points in as many games.

The Warriors re-enter Hockey East play as they head to Chestnut Hill for their only game of the weekend, to face the Boston College on November 2^nd at 2 PM.
