HOMECOMING WEEKEND:
Merrimack College Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night on Friday! Free admission to all Merrimack College Faculty and Staff for Friday's game!

Last Time Out:
  • The Warriors had a home-and-home series against Hockey East foe, New Hampshire. In Durham, the teams skated to a 1-1 tie, with the Wildcats picking up a 3-1 win at Lawler Rink.
  • In Friday's game after trailing, 1-0 heading into the second period, it was a short-handed goal by junior Katelyn Rae (Courtice, Ontario) that knotted the game.
  • On Saturday, the Wildcats jumped out to a 2-0 lead late in the first period. Junior Madison Morey (Fairbanks, Alaska) cut the lead in half at 15:13 of the second period. However, a late empty-netter for New Hampshire put the game away.
Inside the Series vs. St. Lawrence:
  • The teams have squared-off once before, back during the Warriors' inaugural season on Jan. 6. 2016. It was a 6-2 victory for the Saints. Rae had a goal and an assist, while junior captain Jessica Bonfe (Woodbury, Minn.) scored. Junior captain Paige Voight (St. Michael, Minn.) picked up an assist.
  • Junior goaltender Samantha Ridgewell (Outlook, Saskatchewan) had 20 saves in the contest, including 10 in the first period.
The Saints:
  • St. Lawrence lost to Boston College last year during the NCAA quarter final game.
  • The Saints are ranked fourth in the USCHO and USA Today polls.
  • The Saints enter the weekend with a 1-0-1 record, after defeating Mercyhurst, 4-1, on Friday, Oct. 6, before skating to a 1-1 tie against the Lakers on Saturday, 0ct. 7. Kennedy Marchment and Hannah Miller each have four points (2g, 2a) to lead the Saint's offense. Grace Harrison has started both games in net, posting a 0.96 goals-against-average, while stopping 44 shots.
  • Marchment and Miller were second and third on the team in scoring last season.
