BOSTON, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's ice hockey team will play a pair of Hockey East games with Northeastern this weekend in a home-and-home series, beginning in Boston on Friday afternoon. Puck drop for both games is 2 p.m.

Last Time Out:
- The Warriors split their weekend series with Union College, winning 5-3 on Friday night, before falling 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
- In Friday's game, freshman Courtney Maud (Georgetown, Ontario) scored the eventual game-winner with 2:17 left in regulation for her first-career goal, before securing the win with an empty netter. Junior Felila Manu (Anchorage, Alaska) picked up a pair of assists, while classmates Jessica Bonfe (Woodbury, Minn.) and Katelyn Rae (Courtice, Ontario), and freshman Megan Fergusson (Kitchener, Ontario) all picked up tallies. Juniors Paige Voight (St. Michael, Minn.) and Paige Sorensen (Plymouth, Minn.) each dished out assists, while sophomore goalie Lea-Kristine Demers (Repetigny, Quebec) made 19 saves in the victory.
- Junior Samantha Ridgewell (Outlook Saskatchewan) made 18 saves in Saturday's contest.
Inside the Series/Last Season vs. Northeastern
- Northeastern has won five of the six meetings in the short series.
- Last season, the Warriors won the first meeting by a score of 3-2 in Boston, before falling in the next two by the score of 4-2 in both games.
- Manu scored a goal in the series, while Voight had four goals in the season series. Bonfe had a goal and three assists against the Huskies last year, while sophomore Chloe Cook (Summerland, British Columbia) had a pair of assists in the three games. Demers stopped 35 shots in the first game and 23 in the third game of the series, while Ridgewell made 37 in the second game.
- The Warriors have allowed 2.00 goals per game in Hockey East play, as the top scoring defense in the league. Northeastern has the third-best scoring offense in league play, scoring just over three goals per game.
The Huskies:
- The Huskies enter the series with a 5-6-1 record and 3-3-0 in Hockey East action, falling to Maine on Tuesday night, 4-2, on the road. Northeastern is receiving votes in this weeks USCHO Poll.
- Kasidy Anderson (7g, 4a) and Veronika Pettey (5g, 6a) each have 11 points to lead the Huskie offense. McKenna Brand is second on the team in overall scoring with nine points (6g, 3a).
- Brittany Bugalski has started all 12 games as the goalie with a 5-5-1 record and a .901 save percentage.
