NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – After a pair of heartbreaking losses to #10 Providence College this past weekend, the Merrimack College women's ice hockey team looks to bounce back with a non-conference matchup against Quinnipiac Tuesday night. With just three opponents outside the Hockey East left on Merrimack's schedule, Tuesday's road game against the Bobcats will see a 6 p.m. start as both teams look to get back in the win column.

Five Things to Know:
  • The Bobcats enter Tuesday's matchup with a 3-6-3 overall record; three of those losses come in overtime, five by just one goal, and three against nationally-ranked teams (#7 Ohio State, #6 Cornell).
  • Merrimack saw a multi-goal performance from senior Paige Voight in Saturday's loss; it was the second two-goal performance of her career.
  • The teams have met just twice since Merrimack's inaugural season, with neither coming away with a victory; both games played were in 2016-2017, with the end result a tie.
  • Quinnipiac ranks fifth in the country in short-handed goals (2).
  • Merrimack is tied for third in the nation in power play goals (12); UConn leads the way with 13 total.
