SOMERSET, N.J. – Merrimack College's Lindsay Atkinson of the women's lacrosse team makes history winning the NEC Rookie of the Week award for an illustrious 6^th time this season as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.

This marks the fourth week in a row Atkinson has won the Rookie of the Week award, and has now surpassed Bella Burke (Saint Francis 2023), Ally Alliegro (Wagner 2018), Jess DeMeo (Bryant 2016), and Meg Nutter (Monmouth 2005) for most awards in a single season. Atkinson scored 3 goals, had 1 assist, and a ground ball in the Warriors loss to Stonehill on Wednesday.
