ATLANTA, Ga. – The Merrimack College women's basketball team earned the 12^th spot in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association 2023-2024 academic team honor roll top 25, as announced by the WBCA on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Warriors are coming off of a successful season in 2023-2024 gaining the fourth seed in the NEC and having reached the semifinals in early March. This team also saw great success off the court while in the classroom. Collectively Merrimack earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.696, good enough for 12^th best in the entire nation across all of division one. Merrimack will make the transition into the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference this upcoming season while looking to continue similar success both on and off the hardwood.
