NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – On Thursday morning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its 2024 conference schedule. The Warriors will begin their inaugural season in the MAAC with 20 conference games that will begin in mid-December.
The Warriors open their conference schedule with back-to-back home games against Canisius University on December 19, followed by a matchup with Niagara University on December 21.
After the turn of the calendar year, the Warriors will take on Fairfield University of its first MAAC conference road game on January 4. The following week, Merrimack hosts Sacred Heart University for a matchup with a former fellow Northeast Conference member. The squad then heads back on the road to take on Manhattan College on January 11. The following week, Merrimack heads back home to take on Quinnipiac University. The Warriors then head back on the road for a Saturday matchup with Siena College on January 18.
Merrimack finishes the month of January with two home games and a a game. The first home game is against St. Peter's University on January 23, followed by the second matchup of the season against Fairfield on January 25. Mount St. Mary's will then cap off the first month of the year in Emmitsburg on January 31 against Mount St Mary's.
The Warriors go home to take on Rider University on February 2. Merrimack will then play two games in early February. The first will be against Niagara on February 6. The next will be on February 8 against Canisius. The following week, Merrimack will be back in North Andover to the to take on Manhattan on February 13. The squad then goes back on the road for a pair of games. The first against Marist College on February 15. Merrimack will then go to Fairfield for a game against Sacred Heart on February 20.
The Warriors finish the conference season with two home games and road home games. On February 23 Merrimack hosts Iona University for the first time of the season. The squad then hits the road for its final two away games of the season. Merrimack will take on Rider February 27. The Warriors then play Quinnipiac the first day of March. The squad finishes its conference schedule on March 6 against Marist at home
The MAAC will begin on March 11.
