Last Time Out:
- Merrimack orchestrated an 11-0 fourth-quarter closing run that ended with a game-tying three-pointer from sophomore Giulia Orlando (Haverhill, Mass.), forcing overtime last Tuesday at Southern New Hampshire. Team Leaders:
- Merrimack boasts two of the top-five scorers in the conference in Casey and junior guard Lindsay Werner (Groton, Mass.). The former leads the Warriors and ranks fourth in the NE10 with 17.8 points per game, while the latter slots in right behind her at 17.4 points per outing
- Werner maintained her league lead with 18 three-pointers through five games, ranking among the top-25 nationally in total three-pointers
- Alves ranks second in the NE10 in both total assists (28) and assists per game (5.6)
- Merrimack is among the top-half of the NE10 in both scoring offense (67.0) and scoring defense (59.2)
The Skyhawks:
- Stonehill enters Wednesday's game on a three-game winning streak that includes a pair of 30-plus point victories
- After missing all of last season due to injury, senior guard Kelly Martin has returned to lead the Skyhawks in points (16.3), assists (7.5) and steals (1.8) per game.
- Classmate Samantha Hyslip is nearly averaging a double-double with 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per outing, while fellow senior Elizabeth Grip leads the nation with 5.0 blocks per game
The Series:
- Tomorrow will be the 80th meeting between the long-time rivals
- The Skyhawks hold a decided advantage in the all-time series, defeating Merrimack 66 times
