NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's basketball takes on Eastern Nazarene College on Wednesday night. The Warriors head into the game fresh off a 64-54 victory over the Wildcats of UNH. Tipoff is set for 7p.m.
Five Things to Know:
- Freshman Kaylee Thomas scored 18 points in 19 minutes in the Warriors' win over UNH on Saturday night. Thomas scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to lead Merrimack to victory.
- Senior Denia Davis-Stewart earned her fourth double-double in as many games against UNH. Davis-Stewart scored 18 points and pulled down 14 rebounds. She also had seven blocks in the contest. Davis-Stewart currently leads the country in blocks with 25 on the season.
- Sophomore Kate Mager added 15 points in the Warriors' win over UNH. This is the second game of the season in which Mager has scored double digits.
- The Warriors shot 89% from the line in their win over UNH, converting on 34 of their 38 free throw attempts.
- Eastern Nazarene is currently 2-1 on the season in Division III. The Lions have wins over Fitchburg State and Nichols. Their one loss came in an eight point defeat to Framingham State.
