NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – Winners of three straight, the No. 16 Merrimack College women's lacrosse team readies for another matchup against a nationally ranked foe when it travels to No. 17 New Haven on Saturday afternoon. Game time from Kathy Zolad Stadium is 1 p.m.

Five Things To Know:
  • Merrimack evened its overall record and stayed unbeaten in league play after a 12-goal second half sent it to an 18-7 win over Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday night. The Warriors have registered 18 goals in two of their last three games after scoring 20 goals combined in their first three games of the season (6.67).
  • The Warriors are now averaging 11.33 goals per game while yielding 9.00 per game on the other end. They've scored 10-plus goals in four out of their six games thus far while limiting opponents to single digits in four games, as well.
  • Senior captain Amber Feminella, a 2018 IWLCA all-region honoree, leads all Warriors with 22 points (16g, 6a), two points ahead of last year's NE10 Rookie of the Year, sophomore Haley Bartlett, who boasts 15 goals and five helpers for 20 points. Feminella also leads the team with 17 draw controls, while sophomore Kelsey Daly – a 2018 NE10 All-Conference Third Team selection – has caused seven turnovers, the most by any Warrior
  • Senior Lauren Trepaney has been strong in six starts in net thus far; she ranks in the top-half in both goaltending categories in the NE10 – including third in save percentage (.509) – while her 9.33 saves per game are good for fourth in the conference and 36th in the country.
  • Merrimack had gone six years without a win against New Haven before picking up two victories last year against the Chargers. Both wins were at home, including a 14-10 decision in the quarterfinal round of the NE10 Championship. Merrimack leads the all-time series (12-10) dating back to 2001. The Chargers enter Saturday at 4-2 (2-1 NE10) and nearly knocked off No. 2 Adelphi on Wednesday. Mackenzie Reh leads the conference with 42 points (32g, 10a), while goaltender Gianna Guerra ranks in the top-five in both goals against average (6.62) and save percentage (.662).
